We’re exited that Nexmo is providing a Live Stream of the php[tek] keynotes this year (and some additional events as well).
For ease of access, you can find the live stream embedded below. But you can also find it on our YouTube channel. Check out the php[tek] schedule and be sure to check back during the keynotes. (Remember that all times are Central)
Every year at php[tek] we have a special collectibles program. Where you can go seek out some item that the sponsors & special events will provide. Get them all and be entered into a drawing for prizes at the end!
This year to go along with the Casino theme, we have created poker chips that will be available. These are high quality clay chips, and look and feel really great in person:
We are just 3 weeks away from php[tek] — the PHP conference that acts as a homecoming to the PHP community. Thanks to the spacious room available at our new venue, we still have tickets available at this time.
If you were on the fence about attending, read on to hear from some of our past attendees as to what their experience was like: Read the rest of this entry »
A number of our speakers have graciously offered to make preview videos for us, showcasing what their talk will be out.
We started releasing them a few days ago and will be continuing to do so over the coming week. You can see a full playlist of these on Youtube or watch below:
A conference isn’t complete without some events designed to let you wind down and get to know your fellow attendees. Making connections in person is one of the biggest benefits of attending a conference, and at php[architect] we want to make sure that we provide the opportunities for that.
This year we have a number of special activities planned, from a night that’s all about the Community, to a Casino Night, to our Open Spaces & Newcomer Session. We want to make some great events that leave you wanting more! Full details on our special events this year can be found over on our Events Page. We look forward to seeing you all in St. Louis!
We are excited to announce our Keynote speakers for this year’s php[tek]! We are bringing it some of the top PHP community members to really bring home the “community re-union” aspect of this year’s conference. It will include:
Over 500 submissions and we could only accept a fraction of that. We’ve now published the schedule for this year’s conference. We have an amazing line-up of speakers to present on some of the most advanced topics we could find, while having a great balance of beginner concepts as well.
We are also currently working scheduling our keynotes! They should be finalized and announced soon.
We’d love to invite everyone to submit speaking proposals to this year’s php[tek] 2016 Call for Speakers. We have a lot of information to help you out on the call for speakers page, as well as information about our generous Speaking Package to help everyone afford to share their knowledge!
Don’t delay to submit soon! The CfP is only open for 4 weeks, and will close promptly at 23:59:59 UTC on January 16th!
Once again the team behind php[architect] magazine will be hosting our annual php[tek] conference! For this 11th edition of php[tek] we are excited to announce that we are moving to St. Louis! The new larger venue will allow us to continue to grow this conference, allowing more people from the PHP community to come together for a week of learning and camaraderie!
Stay tuned here and on our mailing list to hear more about the amazing activities we are planning and the unique opportunities that the St. Louis Westport area will offer us.
