An exciting change this year, after many years in Chicago — php[tek] 2016 will take place at a brand new venue, in a new locale! We are moving the conference to St. Louis, MO to the Sheraton Westport Lakeside Chalet Hotel.
This new venue has a number of amazing benefits for the conference in years to come. This includes complementary High Speed Internet, an outdoor pool with poolside Tiki Bar, running track and more. Plus it’s part of the larger Westport Plaza, which features 9 restaurants, 3 bars, playhouse, comedy club, dueling piano bar, and blues club.
The hotel is located near the Lambert — St. Louis International Airport. A free shuttle is provided—simply follow the directions for pick-up at the airport. If you are interested staying a few extra days and visiting downtown St. Louis during your trip, it’s easily possible by taking the free shuttle to the airport, and then taking the MetroLink light rail system downtown.
Hotel Accommodations
We’ve negotiated a highly discounted rate for our attendees. You can book a room at the Sheraton Westport Chalet for only $149 a night (plus tax&fees). This is cheaper than our Chicago venue we previously used! To book the hotel, you need to use the StarGroups website that is set up specifically for this event. Make sure that you book by April 29th as the group rate will expire!:
